Step 3: Verify Your Identity
OnlyFans is a serious platform with a strong reputation to uphold, so they go to extra lengths to ensure that there is transparency among its user base. In order to start earning money, you’ll need to verify that you’re exactly who you say you are.
This is a simple enough process, but for security sake has fairly rigorous quality standards. When I myself was setting up an account, it took me three tries to finally have my ID cleared – so don’t panic if your verification doesn’t happen immediately.
You’ll be asked to submit a photo of your identification (passport, driver’s licence, age card, etc) and then a second photo of yourself to verify you are indeed the ID holder.
Once you submit your ID for verification, it should happen fairly quickly – almost always within 72 hours. When I was trying to register at first, I was using my computer webcam to take a picture of my ID, which turned out not to be of a high enough quality.
After failing verification once, I switched to my phone camera and was verified and ready to go within two minutes!

Now that you’re done with the bureaucracy, it’s on to the fun stuff – YAY! Once your account is up and running you can start to think about how you’d like to earn through the platform. There are two basic subscription models you can set for yourself:
